There are pretty flowers in our front lawn. I think they're clover and bugle. Unfortunately, they're not there anymore because my husband mowed the grass.

This is a ceanothus. We got it years ago at a plant fair. It's different to the blue varieties in that it flowers a bit later - June to July - and it's deciduous. I give it a hard prune every February, and it comes up beautifully. The seed heads are lovely too.

The geraniums are still flowering, and the yellow potentilla has joined in. Beautiful colours together!

I think privet is really underrated. The flowers are so pretty, and they just smell of summer!
